Probably a dumb question, but are the Camaro and Firebird fenders the same for 67-68? Other than the lower extensions? I see different part numbers in the catalog, but appears to be the same picture. I have a bead on some nice quality OEM camaro fenders, but not sure about the fit.
![[Linked Image from imageshack.us]](http://imageshack.us/a/img845/5189/turd2.png) I know that washing and waxing my car with the present condtion of my paint is like polishing a turd.....but it's my turd and I want it polished!

'Maro fenders have the rectangular front side marker lights cut into them. And the emblem placement (holes) are different. But other than that, pretty much the same.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. pretty much this difference ,as mentioned abv, stamped from same press, then different cut outs....so, could be 'fixed' to be the same...they will 'fit' ....

I noticed on the the 68 I am working on the that the repo fender's top, outside corner near the bumper is a lot sharper than the other side. The other side, which I believe is still original, follows the rounded contours of the bumper much better.
I assumed that maybe the fender was for a Camaro. Could be just a bad pressing.

My local Goodmark rep and resto shop said the 67 maro fender and inner fender works on the 67-68 Firebird but needs an inner piece trimmed in the front due to the Firebirds unique bumper-grill assembly. Never really looked into it, just passing it along FWIW
Wanting a Custom fit in an off the rack world. I don't have time for a job, I just need the money.
