I am wondering if anyone knows if you could have gotten the HO stripe kit with a 400 motor. I really like the stripe and am thinking of installing it on my 68 400 car. Thanks
I havent seen a factory orderd one. I like them also since my 68 400 ho did not come with it I won't put it on for now. they do look good. when i finish the car, I might change my mind.
My car came with the Ralley stripe package, 400 cars would have the Ralley stripes, 350 HO cars could option the HO stripes. Mine is a 400 HO. Do what you like to the car, I think it looks nice!
I would also like to put the HO stripes on my car. I have not spent the money on a PHS document yet but I know I have a mut for a car. The entire drive train was missing and it had a gold interior. I plan on finishing the car the way I want it but will try to stick with stock looking apparel.

no, just can't believe they came on the 400 as long as i been into fb i thought they came on the 350's. i have some old ads and never seen them in there but they were all 400 not ho's. so anything is possible. its easy to read into things so i just read and don't put much into it. i hope i did not offend you or anybody....
You could order ralley stripes for any bird. Ralley stripes look just like HO stripes but without the HO. I think you are right in that 400 HO's didn't get HO stripes. Not offended, just didn't know how to respond.
