I tried taking my dash apart two days ago and was unable to get anything off except for the vents. can anyone give me some directions reguarding dash removal, i got the gauges loosened, but the steering column is in the way, some of the other parts seem to be non-removeable. I need to unassemble as much as possible, because i am going to re-color everything.
Everything should come off pretty easily Mike. The pad is removed with a bunch of readily accessible screws. The steering column (if it's in the way) will drop down with the removal of the bolts under the column on the U-shaped bracket. Gauges can be removed from the rear.
