Took my intake & valley pan off to try to find the reason for the ticking & popping thru the intake. Only abnormal thing I found so far is the heat crossover was filled & blocked by the shop that did the machine work on my heads. I found both the slugs of metal in the driver's side head, in the heat crossover. Anybody ever have this happen to them? Any idea what kind of damage it could do?
sounds like the metal went through and got stuck into the valve causing it to pop with unburnt gas and the lifter/ pistion tap. it might of went to the pistion area and did some bad things. I hope not but you cannot be too sure.
