Has anyone used Skype with an HD web camera?

We have been using web cam/Skype for years. Personally, I don't see where there has been much improvement from 10 years ago to now. Same old choppiness, burry picture from then to now IMO. And this is with a hardwired highspeed connection on both ends!

Is your experience any better?

I've not used a HD cam, but in my experience it is worth it to spend a little extra. The higher end cams are much more clear.

not using HD camera....the regular one seems fine..."talk" to my Grand kids in Europe basically every weekend...love the Skype, plus the price/cost!
