68tpls400, I added a pic of a motor from that white car to my photobucket, can you tell if its a 400? The hood looks like a 400 hood. I also added a pic of the rear of the car.
You would have to get the code off the block. It is just to the left of the water pump, on the upper vertical face of the block. If the block has been painted a few times, it may be hard to see. There should be a two letter code similar to YS, YT, etc.

ok, I thought you could tell by looking at the block. This car is about 4.5hours from me but the price is in the top end of my budget. It looks however like it needs VERY little work. I am still waiting to hear if its still available and what the vin is.
