I'm going to be removing my doors on my 67 Firebird. Any tips before I take them off so they go back on easy when I'm ready for them? Also, any tips on removing the glass and regulator without pulling my hair out?
You'll need a helper. Those suckers are fairly heavy and awkward. If you have deluxe inner panels, you will need the correct offset box wrench to get the handles off. Otherwise, the door hinges simply unbolt from the doors. Glass and regulators all unbolt from inside the door. Again, if you have all the correct wrenches and screws, it should be fine. Make sure you label everything though.

On my 68 there is a stop that you can unbolt to remove the glass. Once it out and you have unbolted the two bolts at the bottom of the glass you can lift it up and then tilt it towards the inside of the door and it will come right out. Just be carefull as the glass is heavier than you may think.
