I've been looking for the right 1968 Firebird convertible with deluxe interior for quite some time without success. Now that it's winter it appears the market for classic cars has closed until spring. My hope is someone is sitting on one right now but thought they would wait until the spring to list it.
Any help you can provide in finding my dream car will be greatly appreciated.
Wish list: 1) Color: any blue or april gold ..flexible if right car 2) Engine: 350 2 or 4 barrel or a 400 3) Interior: Deluxe and prefer color that matches exterior 4) Exterior: No rust or bondo! 5) Transmission: Automatic 6) Prefer no modifications 7) Price: Under $22,000 but flexible again if right car
I live in Charlotte, NC and will travel to get the right one!
Thank you for your help!

Thanks!! It's raining in Charlotte, NC today so I won't be able to take pictures, but here's a YouTube video of it. The video is a couple of years old but the car hasn't been driven much since it was done. It still has the plastic protection on the carpet! What's cool is I watched this video as inspiration a couple of times over that last few years and when I saw one like it posted on Ebay last week I asked for additional pictures to see if it was my lucky day. After seeing a couple of detailed pictures of it I knew I found my dream car. If anyone has any additional history of this vehicle, I would loved to hear it.
Congratulations on finding your dream car! I'm sure the feeling is incredible.
