thank you very much. it really pops. going against the grain (black) was a gamble but it starting to pay off. those photos looks like a really nice interior. wish mine had some of the orig when i got it but it was totally trashed.
Interior looks great. I noticed you have a wood grain steering wheel. Do you have any info.or pictures on how the horn system hooks up? I bought a 67 with no steering wheel, and can not figure out how the horn works with the wood grain steering assy. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks you. im in the same boat. bought the wheel but not parts to complete it. i have just the cap for it but nothing to connect it correctly. its spring loaded and there is a hole for the plastic contact part. i have to find the rest and figure it out. mabey there is some one with the help here for us.
It looks alot like the 68 set up. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I saw some of those parts available at Heartbeat city. I know others have them as well.
Interior looks excellent! You are almost there. Great job.

thank you all. i appreciate the complements. hope to inspire others to keep the original interior or at least think about it. it is a lot of work and still have some small issues but the bulk of it is coming out nice. the panels are al koch and the headline is trim parts brand. they look and really fit like the originals. the oer (plastic?) trim that goes around the windows are great but they are in black and wont take the dye at all so i just left them black. could not stand to see them flaking with the dye. wish i could dye them the right color i quess black will do.

I painted mine as well and most of it flaked off. Do you know of a safe way to get the paint of as the ones I painted were Ivory Gold.

I tried every thing to make it stick PPG recomended products to bull dogs spray it just wouldn't stick. i used laquer thinner to clean it off. it took a little work but it will come off without damage to the "plastic"?..
