What is the best way to strip off the door panels and carpet on back of rear fold down seat? Once I pull it off, there is the old glue. Is there a chemical I can use to remove the old glue leaving a clean surface to reapply the new carpeting?

You'll never see the old glue once you apply the new carpet. Just clean all the dirt and grunge off and apply some new glue.

Don't sweat the stuff that doesn't matter. There's enough other stuff to worry over.

I would dampen a rag with laquer thinner, and wipe it off the door panels. Dont get it soaking wet. Just peel off what you can from the carpet backing without any solvent. There should be enough tooth for the new glue to adhere. Or what Bob said. reglue and forget about it.
