Guess the guy that informed you about global warming has never seen a resending glacier in Europe and probably never even washed out a beaker in high school chem.

Maybe the poles and equator are swapping positions?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.. 16-24 inches of snow... 5-6 ft drifts across the driveway... 10-15 ft drifts across certain sections of the county road. We get a couple of those kind of snow storms every year. Take pictures, fire up the John Deere riding snow blower, clear up the driveway, and then wait for the county plows to clear the road.
Thats why you save up a couple of vacation days every year for this type of situaton.
The best part, Jimmy the ground hog (he's our local prognosticator), says he saw his shadow and its going to be an early spring. [censored], that grounhog was buried 2-3ft deep below fresh snow. I doubt he saw daylight, let alone the sunshine!

we`ve had it before.....about 6 times since I arrived in 68...6 yrs ago on Christmas eve, see pic, not a lot...we had it stay 2 days about 1 " or 2 in winter of 84 also......early 70`s it stayed a day or two.....then I was the ONLY one to drive my car to the top of the P-garage! a set of lonesome tire tracks up there....! Freeways closed down! LOL, if they did that in Sweden ,wed be closed for 6 months!
Ya, Vancouver (and Seattle for that matter) are a lot like that, snow once or twice a year, generally stays on the ground 1-3 days...and the drivers become very "entertaining" for an old prairie boy like me.
I seen one Front WD guy on a bridge deck ramp spin the rubber off his drive wheel, threw on the space saver spare, and proceed to spin the rubber off that! I think he went 10 feet backwards the whole time....
Plus the ones that think they can brake on some of the steep hills we have....junk lot at the bottom, great entertainment for free.
I will have to say tho, when it does snow here, it's wet and greasy compared to the cold powder styrofoam snow.
