Question on seat mounting. I just replace the carpet (second time) and don't recall how the factory mounted the seats. Did the factory just bolt the seats through the carpet or did they cut and fold a partion of the carpet to bolt the seats and then fold the carpet back to cover the bolt and mounting bracket. Thanks for help,
Actually, both. The rear seat legs bolt through (over) the rear portion of carpet (you need to make new holes), and the rear edge of the front carpet falls just to the front edge of the front seat legs to cover the front of the legs. So don't cut or make holes in the front piece of carpet. If the edge seems to extend too far back, then the carpet needs to be moved forward some more.
