Does anyone know if the hood tach sold by ames for the 68 bird is the same as an original hood tach for that year? If not, where can i get one that is?
It does look like an original but works better as moisture doesn't work its way inside the tach . Only the wiring is differant but easy to install. The tachs usually come w/ a template if you need to cut your hood and instructions to wire. I bought one many years ago and have had no problems. I hope this helps.
