Does anyone have the template that Brett put together for the kick panel speaker cutouts? Can't seem to get the links in the older posts to work for me.
I don't know about a template but when I did mine I cut a small (1") hole roughly in the center of the spot then worked my way out with a small cutting bit in a dremel or rotozip to get the fit exactly in the right spot in the small channel area. A 4" round speaker fit there perfectly. there are some good pics of it on my site if you are interested. depending on the fit of your kick panels with carpeting, sound deadener, etc., I don't know if I would trust any template as being perfect for your car.

The grills are actually cheaper at classic and with the 20% off (thru the 30th) will cost you $43.99 for a pair, plus shipping. I just ordered a pair myself.
Does the speaker mount to the metal body panel behind, or does it make a sandwich with the plastic kick panel & grill?

Thanks for the tip. From their website. They say paint to match interior color as desired. But was that how they came or were they left natural from the factory?
Did you use their 4x6 speakers too?
KICK PANEL SPEAKER GRILLS (PAIR)
Speaker grills are for use with 1967-69 kick panels. Exact duplicate of the original factory installed grill. Manufactured in natural steel. Paint to match interior color as desired.
got mine from Classic. you definatly need to paint them as there are imperfections in there plating. I had them bring out 4 different sets before giving up and deciding I needed to paint them
