Here is what's left of our old Drive In where we use to live. It seems sad to see it this way.

Here is tiny video where we also stopped on the way home at the old ghost town of Candlelaria. There isn't much left of it.

Classic birds all the way! Like Rock and Roll, they're here to stay!

we still have a drive-in just 45 minutes away, we try to go a few times each summer. They only charge $5 per person and show 2 movies, what a bargain

We still have one in Langley actually not far from the new acreage. Was there a few years ago during the Langley car show weekend, on Friday, they have a classic only showing (you guessed it, Smokey and the Bandit) and the whole drive in was classics only. My buddy parked his tailgator at the back and I parked my bird in front and it was a stellar evening!

The Gator (actually was a TV build for CMT's concert in North Carolina if I recall)

Made a good base for the nite at the drive in... wink

My buddy bought it and drove it all the way from NC about 3-4 years ago...has a hot tub in the truck box...LOL

Everyone should come visit me then because we have a drive in here in the town I live in. They are very family friendly with the movies they show and they allow you to bring your own grills, food and drinks. We usually show up around 6:30 and grill and then throw a ball around before the movie starts.

Enderby isn't that far away; only about a 6 hour drive! Check it out next time you're near Vernon.

Gus68 (Brian) Are you setting up a FGF Drive? For the drive-in just outside of Enderby? Cause if your going to have your bird done.... I go to Vernon/Armstong/Cherryville each summer so perhaps could meet up.....Or perhaps I am reading to much into TOHcan's message? grin

Hopefully I have something ready ... keep you posted!

We use to go the drive with my 64 Wagon and buddy' 63 Fairlane.
One guy hiding behind front seat, 2 under 3rd seat and 2 in the truck of the Ford. We would drive up to the ticket girl and say "one please"! lol
