I completely got the front end ripped apart on my 68 firebird, and Im looking for some parts. Im replacing all control arm bushings, ball joints, swaybar bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends. Do you guys have any recommendations on what brands/companies are good to order from. Thanks for the help
Depends on what you want. Going back together stock with new rubber? You should be able to go to your local parts house and get Moog replacement parts. You want to upgrade to Poly, there is Energy Suspension or PST.
Well i am going back with "original." With all that i am replacing i wasnt sure about going with moog due to the cost. I was looking at the rubber kits from classic industries or the kit from PST. Im not sure about what quality of parts that are available from the local parts store.
I have used the entire front end kits from National Parts for both of my 'birds. The kits included every single nut and bolt that you need to replace the entire front end hardware.
