I need a drivers side pillar weatherstrip channel for a 67 vert. I found a passenger side but still need a drivers. I have a set of coupe channels I could cut down but I'd rather not. I'd rather find a good LH one then sell my coupe channels to someone who needs them for their project.

I have one, but how soon do you need it and tell me what they are worth. Can you wait a week to get it?
1969 Firebird 350 Coupe, Rust free Texas body, formerly brown, now a TA clone with quality spoiler, latching hood and TA wheel; 1969 GTO Convertible Expresso Brown/Parchment(currently painted red). Both numbers matching. My first love was a Cameo White 67 326 Coupe, bought back in 1983, at the age of 17, for $1,200. Been hooked since on PONTIAC! Working on a 67 400 ragtop for customization-Gulf Turquoise/Parchment/400/4 spd! My winter project!
No, mine is from one of the two 67 camaro convertible rot boxes I parted out and am about to part out respectively- VENT WINDOWS. Long story short, since I dont have my barn built because the land that my entire life savings is invested in is unable to be reached (environmental laws here in NY dont allow something as simple as a driveway through the woods), my parts are scattered at about 4 or 5 locations of storage. So I have to track it down and there are two shells sitting behind snow and such as well. This week I shall have an answer. It WILL be a 67.

Thanks. Like I said I'm in no big rush. I'd also be curious as to what shape the vent window assemblies are in. If you want to shoot me an email when you have time to check out your parts drop me a line @ mwestcott@cfl.rr.com.

On the way- mailman got it Saturday, and wait until you see how I packed it. I think they would survive the bomb. I used foam and put it in a very hard chipboard tube with thick polyethlene caps on the end, and then a corrugated carton. It should withstand several hundred pounds. Post office can destroy anything so I insured it too. Lets hope we don't need the insurance! I may have a very, very good vent window assembly for drivers side and solid rechromeable header covers (above the sun visor) for the windshield frame. I figure 80 bucks shipped for all. Does anyone know what good 67 vert' glass goes for? I have a good set looks to be non tinted from this Camaro.

I purchased an NOS header 150 years ago when I started this project. So I'm good there. Let me take a look at my vet assemblies tonight and I'll get back to ya.
Thanks

I'm sorry. I thought I sent you a message. Yes I got it. It appears that somewhere along the way someone put a coupe on this vert. The one you sent was a coupe. But, not a major deal. Brain damage here did not notice that one of the pair I already had that I assumed were both coupes were a mix. So now I do have a full set of coupe and vert channels. So I can now sell the full set for the coupe as originally planned. If you do a search of my posts you'll see where I post some pics of the difference between the two . But thanks for the part ...

That part was on that Camaro and was never removed from what I can tell! Wow. I will look at the pics again for cryin' out loud! How strange!

It's not a big deal. I'm happy with the part. Have full set of both, which is what I wanted. I'll sell the coupe pieces now. May also have been a weird switch at the factory. They are very similar. The only difference is the little tab on the end of the vert is about a 1/2" shorter than the coupe.

I took the other side off today. They are as arived from factory. No one ever took that part off before. The car is a December 66 Camaro convertible!

I'd be interested in this if they are still available:

Forum newbie so not sure what the protocol is for purchasing items but I'm currently restoring a 67 vert and could use these. Also, I think you lised a console for a friend that I would be interested in. Thanks, Joe (Boomerang)
