I have a manual convertible top for my 67 Firebird. I have some helper springs that I have been told are the proper ones for this car but cannot for the life of me determine how they go in. I've looked in the forum but don't see any topics for this. Specifically, I am looking for pictures of the springs installed and if possible, what size bolts or pins are used.

Thanks for the thread and illustrations.....but am still confused. In the thread, this link was provided:

On page 38, the picture on the left is the springs I have but I cannot see how it attaches. I am hoping there is someone out there with actual pictures of their springs so I can figure out where it connects.
