Trying to get a good manual. Want something that has info on the front chassis, body, etc. Found info on some good camaro ones, but nothing firebird specific. Any advice?
The ones I have found the most useful for a '67 are both Camaro related unfortunately.
The Camaro Restoration Handbook by Ron Sessions and the '67 Camaro Factory Assembly Manual through Camaro restoration parts houses or E-Pay. I back these up with the factory books for '67 Firebirds - the Fisher Body Manual, the Pontiac Service Manual and the specific '67 Firebird Service Manual.
Also, before you get into it, suggest you go to Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) and get copies of the original paperwork for your car (based on the '67 VIN number)
2012 Mustang Boss 302 #1918, Competition Orange. FGF replacement 2006 Mustang V6 Pony, Vista Blue. Factory ordered. 2019 BMW X3 (Titled to the wife, but I'm always driving it for her. So I'm claiming it) Old projects, gone but not forgotten: 1967 FB 400, original CA car. After 22 years of work, trashed by the guy who was supposed to paint it. I had to sell it. 1980 Turbo Trans Am 1970 Mustang fastback, 351C 4Bbl, auto 1988 Mustang GT, 5 speed 1983 F-150 4x4, built 302 1994 Chevy K2500 HD 4x4, 454 TBI
The Fisher Body manual, the wiring diagrams and parts exploded diagrams and service manuals (available on Vicki's site) and even Classics catalogue were my resources.
One of the best however was this site!
The Tome called "Firebird Restoration Manual" was the least helpful.

books are ok, but best 'knowledge' will be right here! just ask away, I bet you`ll have answers to any question from different people on their area of knowledge. Vikki (Yellowbird) is a great source!
