I was wondering if it is normal for my 69 firebird turn signals to blink so fast, is it normal, or something I can do to slow em down, just wondering, and would appreciate any info I can get. Thanks

The normal is 60-120 flashes per minute. The flasher is sealed and not adjustable.

get another flasher.....they seem to be different in speed...some also 'click' sop you can hear them...cheap item. fits under your dash on the left side IIRC

Had the same issue in my 67. Went with a newer NAPA electronic assembly. Works great and you can definitely hear it.

Years ago you could get a "heavy duty" flasher. It was designed for use when pulling a trailer, to slow down the turn signals. Not sure if they are still available, but you could ask at any good parts store.

Also if a bulb is out it will flash quicker.

bad ground can do that too. Turn your parking lights on, then light up turn signals in one direction. See if the lights on the opposite side flicker, and ensure both front and rear bulbs are flashing in unison.
