Ok, had my bird out tonight, and while driving along, my headlights started flashing on, off, on, off, and so on, turned em off, then back on, worked great, then again, on, off, and so on, so turned em off and back on again, worked great then the same, all parking lights turns and brake worked great, never missed a beat, but headlights are troubling, me, i wiggled the switch, and noticed lights flicker, what am i not looking at here, anyone help me, I need my lights
you check the air in the tires?..lol just kidding nothing last forever..i had the same deal and its kinda hard to get your hand in there to change air vent and such so then you have to disconnect the spedo cable and remove the cluster the good thing is there only 25.00 at auto zone! but take the old one with you because if im not mistaking there are two im thinking a five prong and a six...
I just read you had problems with the turning lights to? check your grounds b4 the switch... there is a small ground strap on the cluster on the radio side I had issues with that almost drove me up a wall...the easy fix or check is to take out one of the screws from the back of the cluster and run a new ground wire to the under dash.....
The switches are different for the 67-68 models and don't buy a cheap chinese knockoff one, the dealer should still be able to get or order a Delco switch for you. They are the same ones for many years.
yes, its the car, the cop that pulled me over for flashing my headlights wasnt laughing, he actually told me people flash them all the time whan they see a cop, they do it to warn other drivers they are sitting and waiting, I told him it wasnt on purpose and let him see for himdelf, and yes, they did it, and I got to go, whewwwww,
Yep, they dont like it at all, according to the one that stopped me, he says that the little piece of roadway I was traveling at the time is the hole in the walls main source of revenue, and thus, warning others takes revenue from them,, as for light issue, I pulled the light switch and replaced it, and wola, they re workin, thanks to all for advice,
