So when tryin to wake the beast after a long winter and cranking on it for a while, all i get when i turn the key is a grinding noise, is it time for a new starter or could it be somethin else
i dont know what it is, battery cables and battery are free of any dirty connections, it just seems it isnt hittin the flywheel right, was gonna take it off (starter)and inspet it better, just makes a grinding noise when key is turned
Went to autostore, got shims, tried a couple diff ones, no resolution, pulled it off realized selenoid was just falling apart cause it lost a bolt and starter gear was kinda chewed up, oreilys, 35 bucks, swapped her out cranks just fine
