Back in HS in the late '70's my little brothers wrecked my '68 Firebird 400 convertible. It was a hack job - headers, stereo, lots of putty under the NYC taxi yellow paint, tranny from a grand-prix, 396 engine from a chevy. I was sad and determined to replace it. Two years ago my brother tried to sell it back to me in pieces - he started to "restore it." I passed.
I've been doing searches for a restored version of the car since 2004 - always too expensive for me. Last week I found it in Pasadena on Ebay and bought it and it's on it's way to me in New Jersey now. I can't wait to drive it.
Welcome to the site. Don't forget to post some pictures of your new 'bird. Congrats on the new purchase!
