Anybody ever try to mount up some newer factory wheels on their first gen? I'm looking at some GTO 17x8 with a 6 1/8" backspacing. Might just have to do the work and try them on to see.
I thought the bolt pattern was different on the Holden cars. I never see 4th gen F-body and Holden cars swapping wheels. That, and the BS will have to be accomodated for somehow.
Well the bolt spacing is listed as metric 120mm. Our 4.75 bolt spacing works out to 120.65. Somewhere around 1/4" difference. THEY say no worries. Alot of guys are running the Beamer wheels with the same spacing so evidently it works. The backspacing will be another issue. I really think it will work on the back but I'm more concerned about the fronts rubbing on the frame when at full turn because of the extreme back spacing. May have to run some spacers on the fronts. Just curious if anyone else had tried it yet. Guess I'll be the guiney pig, ah-hem, I mean trail blazer.
