Just purchased a complete 69 400 but discovered cracks during magnaflux - Bummer!


Now looking for Firebird 69 400 block and somebody willing to put on a pallet. Will pay for shipping cost.

Can you re sleeve the block, might be significantly cheaper and would retain original block?

It looks like the block froze, the freeze plugs were rusted in place and cracked the area around the a number of freeze plugs.

I have a complete '68 WZ motor including carb, minus the distr.

Not sure if this meets your needs.

I will keep you in mind but at this time, I am going to keep my eyes out for a 69. I guess I should ask how much?

What is the date code on the 68 WZ 400 ? I am looking for a date code Oct. 68 to restore an early 69 Firebird . How much for the complete motor . Would you be interested in selling the short block ? Thank You .
