Hey all, after looking through many many many search result threads, I still am not finding what I was looking for. I am upgrading to front manual disc, from drum, on my 67. The people I purchased the complete kit through tell me my factory hard lines will not work with the new kit. Anyone else run into this? They say that no factory drum hard lines will work with any disc upgrade kit because the lines are too short and wont reach the prop valve. Any help on this is greatly appreciated, I barely had enough $$$$ for the kit, now he wants to sell me lines for more $$$$. I dont mind swapping the lines over the winter, but the weather is getting nicer and I want to get it back together and drive it!!!

The other issue is the brakeline frame brackets at the front wheels. The kit comes with special lines that work with the existing 67 drum brackets. If you get 69 style brake lines you have to get the 69 brackets that are very different and require drilling new holes in the frame.
I upgraded my '67 4 drum (power) coupe to front disc with a kit from Master Power Brakes. I do not remember anything in the instructions about lines being too short.
However, 1) the kit came with new lines for the front. And 2) I did run into one issue with the single rear pipe not wanting to reach the new prop valve because of the new valve having different positions where the lines exited. So I ended up getting a brake line "union" for one flare end to another and extended the line with a short piece of pipe from the local auto parts store.
Works great.
