I am trying to decide if I should put power steering in my 69 coupe, in the end it will have a small block in it. I have been told it's a light car and manual steering is no big deal. Can anyone give me some feed back on what to expect with the manual steering set up?

When I was 18, my Sprint Bird with manual steering was no big deal. At 49, there is no way I would go to manual steering, parking would be a PITA.

Johnny,

When you put the small block in it, be sure to "delete" "torque" from your "name"... Never send a BOY to do a MAN'S job...

Maybe torque is what he wants to apply to the steering wheel.

Wow this is my second post and your treating me like one of the guys, I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks for the input.

So, besides a new gear box, pump, pulleys and drag link is there any other steering components that need to be changed?
