I have just had my 1967 put on a frame machine because it was hit in the right rear "before I owned it", and the body man told me that the mount for the frount of the right rear spring was about rusted off. He also told me that he looked for the part and that he couldn't find it. I believe that it may be apart of a frame rail, or a frame extention. Any help would be nice.
n.p.d. sells the part. their number is 1-800-521-6104 the front leaf spring mounting bracket is on page 46 of their book. the cost is 29.95 be certain to ask them to send you a copy of their firebird book. otherwise they dont automatically send it. good luck
I just put new springs on my 67 this past week. I put the mounting brackets from n.p.d on as well. They fit great. make sure you get new bolts and clips , if your brackets are rusted out then i am sure you will need the new bolts and clips. I also made sure i coated the car heavily with POR ( rust prevention!)where the bracket mounts.POR is also sold in the n.p.d catolog. Great stuff!!
