Hi, I'm considering a Borgeson steering box for my '69. www.borgeson.comI have the following choices; 800220 12.7:1 ratio 800221 14.0:1 ratio 800222 17.5:1 ratio 800205 listed as "variable" ratio Can someone recommend the best ratio steering box to go with? Thanks in adviance.

I don't know if it's the "best", but I switched to a 14:1 box and am really happy with it. Much quicker, but a lot more feedback.
I got mine as a reman unit at a local auto parts house, With new hoses and rag joint have about $300 in it.

I have one from a stock 67 326 car that I had rebuilt and the fast steering gears installed, like 2.5 turns lock to lock, problem is lack of steering feel, and lots of either feedback or bump steer in my hands now. The 225 50 16 tires are not helping either I assume....but it is way easier to manuver in tite spaces.
