So i bought a disc brake conversion kit awhile back and while putting it on decided to upgrade my control arms as well, when i noticed that my drivers side top control arm was shimmed, so knot really knowing what its about, i shimmed the new arm i put it, would anyone hear know why this control arm whould be shimmed?
Alignment purposes, camber specifically. You need to take it to an alignment shop when it's done anyway so they will check and adjust, and yes even if you put the same shims in that it had before.
