anyone installed a power antenna on their 1969 firebird and if so, what brand and in what position (front or rear)?anyone tried the antenna x hidden antenna? thanks allen

Right rear quarter, I think it was a Metra brand but I haven't looked at it in a while.

I replaced my stock rear power antenna with an aftermarket one.
Don't know the brand. Almost any aftermarket power antenna will fit/work. The hidden antenna's are a complete waste of money. They just don't work very well.

I just helped my cousin install a secret audio system in his 70 lemans. we moved that "hidden" antenna everywhere and couldnt get it to work. he returned it. we hooked up the original windshield antenna and it worked fine.

Also i would like to install a power antenna in the rear of my FB. any leads on brands that would look good or semi original?? thanks.
