not in southern indiana!! 20 miles from my house in northern indiana...auburn to b exact! ive heard mixed reviews but know of a few people with engines from him and they sound nasty...but u pay for it for sure!! his starting price for a rebuild is around 3500$ and the general cost limit is north of 15k. count on spending around 6500$ for something you can peel the streets with. hes also a supplier of the new beefier iron aftermarket pontiac blocks. the price starts at 1250$ last time i chcked. he told ,e for a fully prepped block out the dppr would b around 1750$. add in a stroker kit and a good set of heads and you get how quickly it adds up!! 428 nodular stroker kit is 1250$ online and a set of e-heads for 1850$. add in assembly at 75$ an hour and u get the general price of the motor you may build.

We're the complaints related to the quality of the work or the price? The former is an issue, the latter is a choice.

Generally...when a business includes "racing" in a title, the work won't be cheap.
IMO, stick with Butler...you get what you pay for. I would never have any rare block or a one of block machined, assembled and tested by anyone other than a Pontiac specific machinist.
If I had a general purpose engine built would I consider someone else. $3500 is ok for a stock rebuild, balancing, forged pistons, aftermarket rods, heads done and assmbled.

If you have a few minutes to spend reading some interesting and entertaining threads just try googling "Bruce Fulper" you will no doubt first find his own site telling anyone interested how wonderful he is but then if you go on to other sites around the web and read you will find many, many pages of peoples opinions on his work and his reputation. I have done lots of reading and most seem to point to Butler in the East and SD Performance in the West as reputable and honest Pontiac Professionals. I have dealt with both during my resto and have nothing but good to say about them both. but everyone should do their own research and form their own opinion right?
I have been on the PY site for a few years I know all that agoes on with him, personally I wouldn't have anything to do with him but his money spends just like anyone elses and I needed to get rid of some blocks and heads
