Has anyone purchased leaf spring brackets recently, with good success? I've noticed prices from yearone, goodmark, peformance years etc. vary from $20 to $40, and they don't necessarily look the same in the photo's.

And that's my problem; My car has different leaf spring brackets on each side, resulting in a 1" vertical difference from where the spring bolt is in relation to the body, ground, etc. Result: a nice (not) lean to one side.

The left side bracket has a 1" gap between it and the floor above it, which I've noticed in a Nova resto photo. Also, the spring bolt sits about 3" away from the car floor above it.

The right side bracket positions against the floor (no gap) and the spring bolt is positioned about 2" away from the car floor above it.

Both "fit" just fine, but obviously only one is correct. The right side looks more natural; in fact, the gaps between the tops of the tires and the fenders is equal everywhere except on the left side, so logic would suggest the right side bracket is correct, but I've stopped assuming when it comes to parts.

Note: The car always looked like it had a very slight lean, but after welding in new floors, the lean is much more obvious. I thought something was broken, or that I had broken something while jacking it up and down a million times, but no, the lean is due to (more of) the wonderful work of the previous owners.

Your right side bracket sounds correct to me. I just measured mine. From the center of the spring eye bolt hole to the underside of the bracket cup is 1 11/16 inches. I think that fits with your measurement of 2 inches from spring bolt to floor pan.
