I'm so happy right now, I could scream. Yesterday the Dr. appt. went very well. I know many of you have been supporting me and following my progress through my battle, and believe me it was at times a nasty battle with AML (Leukemia). The Dr. reports, I am cancer FREE!, and I now have greater than 99% the donors marrow which is pretty much a cure. I cried all day yesterday, and didn't sleep at all last night. The ups and downs both physical and mental were some of the worst days of my life, but my sassy, stubburn, strong temprament have helped me get through this, along with the thoughts and prayers of friends and family like ALL of you guys. Also I have a 69 TA Tribute car to build, and I WILL SEE that happen come hell or high water. Imune system still isn't 100% and I'm still on a significant amount of meds. Not working for atleast another year, as in the field with Kids, they could make me really sick. I'll have to get all my childhood shots all over again once my new imune system is working, as mine is gone and everything is the donors now. Well that's about it, just wanted to share a little good news for a change, Cancer seems to take to many good people way to soon these days.

Congratulations on your victory! My best friend from college has survived his battle with leukemia for over 18 years now, occasional issues but still going strong.

Wow, soooo nice to hear something good for a change! Tammy and I think of you often and Jeffrey often asks as well about "the lady with the awesome blue Firebird" as he remembers you and your car from Norwalk in 07.
Your story is encouraging to me as I deal with my vision loss. It's been taking it's toll psychologically recently but knowing folks like you who are dealing with more serious issues puts thing in perspective...
