I have a tick that sounds just like a lifter tick but it is not. If you use a stethescope the tick is loudest at the back intake mounting bolt. The tick kinda has a bell ting to it like washers on a bolt while tapping the end.
Its not an exhaust leak all lifters are adjusted right, Yes I have adjustable rocker studs. Can a broken valve spring make that same kind of noise, what else can it be? I have had that stethescope everyehere. I did replace the lifters and inspected the cam, everything looked great. It is at the intake bolt area a loose tick. I need some Ideas to try, thanks
