I have a 67 bird the pass fender sticks out about 1/4 inch past the door do i need to shim the door out or do I need to some how push the fender in? Or both
You may be able to adjust the bottom of the fender "in". In general, you align the doors to the rear quarter, then align the fenders to the doors.
If doors or fenders are repops, you may need to add bondo to get the correct contours/alignments.

i would check to see if there was another reason for it to be out of alignment. they are never flush but shimming the fender at the rockers will pull it closer to the door. or removing a few at the pillar.
Is there a tool that bends the fender in a little?
