Well the MCACN show in Chicago was great. If anyone ever has a chance to go I highly recommend it. Routy ended up scoreing a gold with 997 points out of 1000. its a great show and crazy rare cars every where you looked.

How's that? 997 out of a 1000 for what, a tribute car? I don't mean to run it down, just asking what? I'm sure it's a very nice car but it's built with tons of repro parts and I'm not sure how that would be judged. Definately not a concourse build.

I was not in the concourse class I was in the modified class so I guess they were looking at over all build quality fit, finish, how clean the car was and how well done it was based on a 1000 point scale. If the paint had flaws points are deducted. If the dash fit poorly or was cracked or dirty points are deducted and so on.

I see, said the blind man. A modified car seems so subjective that I have a hard time imagining a point based system but I suppose they need some way to break a tie in the event of.
Do these car shows have a class for racing cars? Some of you guys have created some great looking stock/modified racing cars that should be included as well.
While we are at it ... open a Pontiac Station Wagon racing car class!
