I have a '69 conv. and run the big balloon 235-60-14 BFG Radial T/A's...I want new ones ; can't get em... Will the 245-60-14's be too big and rub? I can get those... I don't race, ralley, or bend it around corners much...Just drive it 4-5 times a week and take an occasional trip... Bear
Ken , really ,you can get 245s? thats what I had on my 69 convert. up til recently , couldnt find those anymore so I got 235-60-14 BFGs all around on my 6 inch rims....but yes 245s fit, I had that size for over 8 or 9 yrs.....the rim being 7 shouldnt widen the tire where it counts.
Bear, I'll sell you mine already mounted on rallys w/rings and lugs. AND, they have 235/60/14 Firehawk Indys on them. Great tires. Way better than those old BFGs.
Overall, I have been pleased with these tires. I have owned them since 1993, so that should speak for itself. They are subbed out by Firestone. (The white lettering is same font Firestone uses.)
