Does anyone know the correct length for the intermediate cable on the parking brake system for a 67 ?

I just bought a new stainless steel cable from Inline Tube, and it is too long. The 67 cable is supposed to be shorter than 68/69. I'm wondering if they incorrectly tagged the cable and sent me the wrong one.

I dont have the old cable to match it up with, so any info. would be a help.

Are you using the metal rod that hooks to the subframe and pulls the cable outward? I thought I had the same problem as you until I realized I was missing that rod.

My '67 intermediate cable is 78 3/4 inches long. The front cable is 58 inches long.

Subsequent to my posting, I did find and old cable that I had. It measured 78-5/8" (same as yours).

Armed with this info, I was able to convince Inline to send me the correct length cable.
