A week or so ago my password would not work like it had be deleted or changed. Then I noticed that my messages are all gone except one 3 years ago. I checked my posts and all are gone except those before 2008!
In those messages was an address to send postage back to someone who sent me a wiring harness, FREE!
I want to pay him back but all my info is gone, why?

If you are that person please PM me with the info again.

I have no clue to what happened...never heard of something like this before....but there is a limit to number of messages....I try to keep mine low as it is hard on the sites memory....right now I have Quota: 339 / 10000

I was no where near my quota and all of the messages are gone!

I had to get a new password but my user name is the same. I wonder if that would cause a problem.

Well some where just messages when I asked questions to someone about buying something but some were people I had contacted and bought something from.
Those people are some I wanted to keep to contact in the future and one in particular gave me a wiring harness and he paid for the shipping and I want to pay for the shipping.
He sent me the address in a PM and I left it there. I went back to get it to pay him and my password did not work. After getting a new password everything was gone.
So to answer your question, Yes some of it was good.
