I have a 68 bird 400 motor and a 68 saginaw 4 speed tranny, I am having issues with the 4 speed shifting linkage that was given to me. Seems as though it hits the front of the console and hole in the floor. Does anyone have info on the correct shifter needed and where I might buy the correct one. Seems like there are a ton of them out there and I am trying to ensure I only but it once. The one I am trying to use is a Hurst original but actually when I run the number codes it looks like it is for a chevelle/nova. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, George
