Hi everyone first time on this forum. I've just recently picked a 68 convertible and I'm going to replace floor boards on both sides . My question is I'm going to have the vehicle on a rotiserie before making the cuts is it needed to install some support brackets so the body won't flex?
Would be a good idea. Also weld some cross braces from door jamb to door jamb to keep the quarters straight.

If you are only doing the individual floor pans, it won't be too bad. Its when you replace the entire floor pan that it gets exciting. Are you doing the trunk pan too?
