I have a manual transmission set up for a 3 speed that at one time I considered using but ended up going in another direction so I have decided to finally place these items up for sale. I think everything is here to do a auto to manual conversion. Of course a 3 speed may not be as popular as a 4 or 5 speed but I kept everything together as a starting point. All the parts except for the shifter were pulled from a running but wrecked 68 firebird that had a 400 engine and 400 hood but I cannot verify if it was a true 400 car. The shifter was purchased later at a swap meet from a vendor that rebuilds them as the original was MIA. I searched the casting numbers on the tranny and found it to be, I believed, correct for a Saginaw that would have been in a 68 firebird. I would like to sell this all together but if there are no takers I will consider parting it out. Shipping is not impossible but will be a challenge. If someone is interested, these items will be available for pick up at PSN this year. Not sure where to price it as a kit but I think worth about $4-500 if parted it out, so, I’m asking $450.
Parts list:
