I can not find anything on 1969 firebirds with electric trunks. Did they come with them as an extra. I have a unit that looks factory off mine and so does the button and was wondering if it was an option.

That's where I'm having trouble, I can't find a reference to the color, and until I do I'm not about to taint my car with an incorrect part! Except for the engine, radiator, trans and crossmember, differential, shocks, springs and front & rear sway bars, front disc brakes, seats, paint and conv. top color, steering wheel, power trunk release, and the stainless steel overlay on the console and the dash to replace the wood, I'm keeping my car exactly as it came from the factory! Oh, almost forgot, another thing I got from the Olds was the rearview mirror with the light in it. Nice idea for those with convertibles and no dome light.
