I'm compiling a list of the 67 Firebird rear mono leaf spring decal codes to have the decals reproduced. These are the orange tape decals that were wrapped around the leaf spring about 3 inches from the rear of the car. Each decal is an orange tape with a large two letter code and the part number under it. I have the leaf spring usage chart from the parts manual and have compiled all but two codes. I need to know what the two letter code is for spring 3917545 which was used on 400 and 326HO convertibles and also the two letter code for spring 3917541 which was the base 6cyl convertible. So far I have all other codes by finding remnants of originals. What I have so far is 3917540 PW, 3917542 PC, 3917543 PB, and 3917544 PP. Great thanks for that info, only one more code needed. I still need the code for the base 6 cyl convertible spring 3917541. You are correct on the Sprint convert using the same spring as a 400 convertible. The spring usage chart shows the 3917545 used on sprint convertible, base 6 cyl convertible when ordered with firm ride & handling, 326HO convert, 400 convert, and any V-8 convert when ordered with firm ride and handling.
