Hello, my rear license plate bracket is missing so I have to make a new one. But I got stuck immediate when I saw 2 round holes and 2 square holes and a wall behind it so I can´t use a nut. So the question is: how do the bracket look like (or a good home-made one) and how do I attach it? Maybe anyone have picture on their first gen firebird´s rear license plate bracket?
There is no bracket for '67-'68 rear. (only front)
The rears use square nylon tabs that slide into the 2 square holes on the bottom. Screws go through the plate into these nylon tabs. The upper two holes are for rubber bumpers to cushion the upper part of the plate.
The nylon tabs are available at hardware stores in the US. Only Bjorn may know where you can find them in Sweeden.

Ok, so it´s not attached on the upper end of the license plate? Or do the rubber bumpers attach both on the car and license plate? You don´t have a picture on how the rubber bumpers look like or the product name of the rubber bumpers?
There was a bracket attached to the center of the bumper that the license plate slid into that kept it against the rubber bumpers on top. That piece is usually gone.
