The one hole in the grille is correct. The other stud just pokes through the grille and has a flat speed clip on the back of it to hold it in place. Yes, seems kind of assbackward, but that's the way they were. The emblem with two studs is correct.

Sorry guys, I wasn't clear. I'm looking for the arrowhead emblem. In a momentary lapse of memory I could not remember the term "arrowhead".
So my bumper has one hole (I should not have said grill, it's in the bumper). The original arrowhead has one post, the new one I was given with the car has two.
I see FB101 on Ames, but can't tell if it has one post or two.
The arrowhead requires two holes in the bumper. (or at least that was the original way they were done)
I'm sure a good epoxy glue or something could be used with no holes if you were so inclined.

if you only have one hole ,what does it look like? the originals were "oval" with elongated/concave opening...maybe your bumper isnt a true 400 bumper?
My original 400 bumper has two holes for the emblem.
As my emblem is not attached - I can provide a photo really easily is somebody wants one.

My car wasn't a 400. It was the 326. There was an emblem in the bumper but was in bad shape. Previous owner removed it to have the bumper rechromed and lost it.
That would be a standard bumper that someone punched a hole in it.

Problems: The bumper has been rechromed so a flash photo is going to look like a starburst.
And the camera will not focus with the flash off cause it's too dark in that corner of the garage.
I will go looking for an older photo.

Save the photo and blow it up. It's a high resolution.

We both have 67 Texas plates! No stickers on the windshield. Do you drive yours, and have you been pulled over? Even in my arrest me red and very loud car, I haven't had a single issue with the cops.
But, if you are in OK you don't have inspections anyway.
I am going to have to think about what to do about the arrowhead. No drilling with the new chrome job.
Unfortunately that photo is from my dream garage at my previous house in Amarillo. 3 car, 10 foot high doors, epoxy floor, 1,000 sq ft. Look at the space I had in front of the car. I miss it.
Yes - those are the '67 Texas plates I had all ready to go to have registered in TX. Now they are just hanging on the wall.
Now I have a "new" '67 OK plate from Texas County ready to be refurbished and used someday. Maybe.
I also have the original black/yellow California plates for the car that spent 3.5 years being restored at a famous shop in PA. That is a very long story.
