how come I can't find any threads on long branch manifolds? I must be search inept.
Anyhow, what I'm trying to find out is who has used the LBMs on a '69 with factory air. I belive there has to be a modification to the oil filter, but I'm not 100% sure. Also, it looks like they are going to run about $640 with ceramic coating from RAR. Since I live in the desert and it gets HOT in the summer, I don't want the heat related issues. I plan on driving this car and having fun with it. I've never been a real fan of headers as they always seem to get in the way and I'm never doing anything that I NEED to have that extra couple of horse power. Links/Thoughts?

You have to have the oil fiter adapter that twist the oil filter 45 degress. That helps it clear the manifold. They are heavy but they look cool. The big car adapters are longer than the firebirds.
