69 taillight housing inside paint?

refinishing my housings and the paint inside the housing (where the bulbs would be) is flaking off. anyone know what color this is? looks like maybe a semi gloss cast?

I used bright aluminum....


69 RA III T/A Auto

I used a natural metal aluminum/steel paint. It may have been one called "Fresh Steel".

thanks, I will go with aluminum. These darn housings are sharp on the edges!

Those reflective paints are never as reflective as chrome.

Want some bright taillights? I got a roll of chrome tape from the auto parts store and lined the insides of my tail light with pieces cut to fit.

They are almost as bright as LED's now!
