Who is this Brian guy and how the h*ll did he get to own such a beautiful car? Why am I so jealous?
Referring to the March 2012 FGF calendar pic. For those of you who have this calendar, I'm sure you can appreciate my jealousy. For those that don't, you shoulda bought one! It's an amazing 68 400 Verdoro Green / black vinyl top coupe that looks very stock.
I want it. Having to look at it all day while at my desk at work seems cruel.

I have the same feelings toward your pics in your posts, and all others. I am still looking for my first bird. Talk about long days... Pontiac fever has DEFINATELY set in at my house....

You made me flip to March...I had forgotten....yup nice car..the color combo I wanted , but a vert....I had to settle for my red 69...as I gave up looking...
I hear that Brian guy is a real pain in the @$$...LOL!
Thank you very much for your kind words about my '68! The car started its life as a 400 column shift auto. The goal during the restoration completed in August was to keep it as stock as possible. Of course some liberties were taken(15 inch rally IIs, wheel well moldings on standard car, hood tach, console, rear seat speaker, etc.) among the things offered from the factory.
Most of the credit on the car goes to Chris, Galen, Brad, and Bobby at CW Restorations. And some very helpful assistance(and parts) from garlanka(he lives down the road from me) and many others at this site and at PY. I started out just hoping to get some power brakes for the car, I didn't imagine it would turn into a complete frame off restoration.
For what it is worth, I now have a '68 Verdoro green convertible to go with the coupe. Im hoping to have it on the road some time in 2013.
PS Mark, I've always been jealous of your car's color scheme. Redlines go better with it than any other color in my opinion.

you order it in late part of the year from this forum....last few years Dave ("Langely" )has been nice enough to make them , mail out...not sure if he has any left...
Mark, Thanks for the encouragement, It hasn't been two years for me yet, so I don't feel so bad- I gotta admit seeing all the pics and videos of the great cars on this sight do make the mind wander a bit- easy to get distracted at work lol... I thought I had two different ones wrapped up, but fate said otherwise.. You have a sweet ride there, hope to have one in my garage as well soon! This is a great web site, full of experience and knowledge to pull from.

Sort of like getting an old copy of Hef's magazine? The articles are out of date, but the pictures never go out of style?
